Indian Books again
Now I'm writing in English because some person here in India ask me! It is a more universal language to comunicate.
I'll continue with the tour around my books. I haven't finish same of the first group because they are not novels, are books to read slowly.
Mahabarata for Children by Er. B. G. Ramesh
A compilation of the biggest poem from Mankind history. According to my memories is 10 times bigger then the Odissey and Iliada form the great greek poet Homero. It is in this poem that the great yogi treat is in: Baghavada Guita.
Ramayana for Children by Er. B. G. Ramesh
The second biggest poem in Hindu tradition. Another light trip into the Hindu Philosofy.
The Story of Sri Krishna for Children by Swami Raghaveshananda
Again the history of Gods. It is strange that the way Hindus have the show the greatness of their Gods is through physical strengh. Krishna probably kill around 100 demons, that wanted to kill him, with his own hands.
Health, Healing & Beyond: Yoga and the living tradition of Krishnamacharya by T.K.V. Desikachar.
Through the words of his son part of Krishnamacharya genious and knowledge is reveled. For me is an inspiration. Is is probably the last man in Indian that hold its culture heritage.
A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking
When modern science starts to see and understand things that many great man percepted in the past then all the mankind can benefit from it. Is is a possibility for a quantic leap. Now we know that space and time are not absolute, but we still need to live it to change our lives. East and Western Wisdom togegher can bring a new way of living.
Quem me dera ser onde (I Wish I was a wave) by Manuel Rui
Bringing Angola tradition to a city building Manuel Rui can find the highest human values in a group of 2 children that get attached to a pig their father brought home to raise and eat.
A short guide to meditation by Swami Harshananda
A real small book tha gives you nice hints about meditation
